Privacy Policy
NW Peak Fundraising and Consulting LLC ("NW Peak," "we," "our") operates nwpeakfundraising.org. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide through contact forms (name, email, organization, phone), newsletter signups (email), and platform accounts (name, email, role, school affiliation). We also collect usage data through standard web analytics.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver the platform and consulting services, send requested communications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
Fundraising Platform Data
The NW Peak platform processes donor and athlete data on behalf of the schools that use it. Schools are the data controllers for their program data. We act as a data processor under applicable law. Student data is protected in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
Third-Party Services
We use the sub-processors below, and no others. Each maintains its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
- Stripe — payment processing and payouts. Receives donor name, email, and payment details.
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Stores platform data.
- Vercel — application hosting and cookieless analytics. Analytics records page views only, with no cross-site identifiers.
- Resend — transactional email (receipts, invitations, campaign updates). Receives recipient name and email address.
- Twilio — SMS, only where a recipient has opted in. Receives phone number and message content.
- Sentry — error monitoring. Reports are scrubbed before they are sent: request bodies, cookies, URLs, console trails, and user identity are removed, and fields with personal-data names are redacted.
- Anthropic — powers coach insight summaries. Receives campaign context and athlete names. It receives no donor information, no contact details, and no guardian information.
- Cal.com — meeting scheduling on our /book page. Receives the name, email, and chosen meeting time of people who book a call with us.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers, and we run no advertising of any kind. There are no other recipients of your data.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number solely to send the communications you consented to — registration and account notifications, program updates, fundraising campaign updates, and event or raffle confirmations. Consent is collected through a checkbox that is unchecked by default, and consent is not a condition of registration or purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get assistance by replying HELP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent records are never sold or shared with any third party.
Data Retention
Marketing inquiry data is retained for 2 years or until deletion is requested. Platform campaign data is retained for the duration of the school's engagement plus one additional year.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, portability of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting bbailey@nwpeakfundraising.org. We will respond within 30 days. Oregon residents have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (ORS 646A.570–646A.589), including the right to confirm whether we process your data, to obtain a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising — we do neither, and we honor these rights for all users regardless of whether the Act's thresholds apply to us. If we ever decline a rights request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and Oregon residents may contact the Oregon Attorney General.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in Oregon courts.
